Michael has been coordinating, directing and guiding tours and educational seminars for the past 12 years.
Michael is married to Ella, and has three sons: Yahm, Gahl and Maayan. He lives in a community village called Yuvalim, located in the Galilee. Michael has a B.Ed in Education and in Israel’s History and is a licensed tour guide.
As a tour guide, Michael has been working with groups of both Israelis and foreigners from all over the world. He has led adventure tours in Jordan, the Sinai and Turkey, as well as educational programs in Poland.
Michael Bauer spent two years on the west coast of the United States where he worked for the Jewish Agency as a “shaliach” (emissary), writing, creating and running educational programs and projects related to Israel.
As an educator who specializes in the education of the Israeli-Arab relationship Michael developed seminars and workshops which deal with topics as: Israeli Arab relationship, co existence, Israel’s borders and neighbors, Middle East politics and Israel Advocacy. With those seminars Michael tours around North America a few times a year.
With his family, Michael is on an on going search for more sites, destinations and topics to share with others.
Ella Yahav - Bauer is the Logistical coordinator of all tours and seminars.
Ella graduated from the environmental school in Sde - Boker, and joined the nature reserve association as a guide and as an environmental ranger. As a guide, she guided youth groups and families. As a ranger she worked on several environmental projects.
Ella has an M.B.A in business and economics and a B.A in Sociology and anthropology.
Ella is a licensed travel agent and worked for one of the largest tour companies in Israel. Ella lives in a community village called Yuvalim, which is located in the Galilee. She is married to Michael, and has three sons, Yahm, Gahl and Maayan.
